After the study tour, my friend and I got an extension and backpacked around Europe. Our first stop was Florence, Italy. Our starting point was Paris, France. From Gare de Lyon, we rode the Trenitalia to Milan. An easier route was by Switzerland, but Switzerland was not part of the Schengen Area that time. In Milan, we switched trains to go to Florence. We wasted an entire day thanks to Trenitalia.
The next day, my friend and I toured the city.
